Pros Cam

We’re all pros.

The iPhone Duo propped like a laptop, showing the editor, then folding like a book, opening, and closing, followed by an iPad and an iPhone, each held upright and sideways, showing the app on every screen.

From first idea to the post

One setup for the whole video.

  • A script that follows your voice

It scrolls as you speak, or steps through your talking points. The words you have said light up.

  • Keep me in frame

The picture follows your face, so you can move around and stay exactly where you should be.

  • Private by design

Your videos and scripts stay on your iPhone unless you turn on a cloud backup. No ads, and no tracking software in the app.

Ways to record

Every style of social video.

Choose how you want to show up. The camera, the layout and the script are set around it.

  1. You, on the front camera, with your script just above the lens.

  2. Film what you see, and talk to it.

  3. One fills the frame, one floats. Front and back, recorded together.

  4. Talk over a clip from a small window you can move.

  5. Talk over a picture, and take people through it.

  6. Walk through a page while you talk. The page scrolls as you go.

  7. You on one half; a photo, a clip, a page or the other camera on the other. Make one half smaller and choose how it shows.

  8. Switch layouts as you record: yourself, both cameras, stacked, blended, clips, photos and pages.

  9. Pictures only. Snap it, edit it, and it is ready to post.

  10. To YouTube, Twitch or Kick with your own account, the chat on your screen.

The camera screen for each way to record: selfie, back camera, both cameras, over a video, over a photo, over a website, split screen, all-in-one and photograph, and the Stream screen for going live.

Go live

Live from your pocket.

One tap to YouTube, Twitch or Kick with your own account. Your chat on your screen, your scenes a tap away, and the picture keeps going when the signal dips.

One tap with your own channel.

Scenes

  • Your chat, on your screen

The newest messages from YouTube and Twitch sit over the corner of your picture, and never go out in the stream. Kick’s chat is built too

  • A Split on air, with a photo or a page

You on one half, the other camera, a photo or a web page on the other. Move the photo and pinch it where it stands.

  • Everything else, one button away

Layouts, the service, portrait or landscape, and the quality open from one button, in glass arcs over the bottom of the picture.

  • Your own pictures, videos and pages

Add pictures, videos and web addresses once, and they wait as tiles in the menu: a picture fills its tile, a video plays muted on a loop, a page shows its own icon. Tap one to put it on the stream, with you in the corner if you were on camera; hold one to take it away.

  • Every scene, from the start

Starting soon, you, the back camera, both cameras, a Split, a photo, a photo and you, a web page and you, Be right back and Ending are all there before you set anything up. A scene that needs a photo or an address asks for it when you pick it.

  • On a big screen, a desk instead of a menu

On an open iPhone Duo or an iPad the picture stands whole on a stage, portrait or wide, and your scenes, the scene’s own choices and the stream’s settings sit on a desk beside it. Propped like a laptop, the picture is above the fold and the desk below it. Closed, the Duo keeps the phone’s screen.

  • Softer, never stuck

When the connection dips the picture gets a little softer before it would stutter, and if it drops, Pros Cam connects again by itself.

Going live needs the Pro plan. With your own account you never copy a key; a key you paste for any other service stays in your iPhone’s Keychain.

The Stream screen while live: the status pill with LIVE, the time and the connection, the chosen scene on air, the chat over the picture, and the microphone, Hold to end and the menu button at the foot.

Stitch

Many clips. One video.

Choose your clips and photos right on Home, say what kind of video it is, and Stitch lines them up with the joins already made. Then change anything in an editor of its own.

What are you making?

Vlog: starts in 9:16, a photo holds 2.5 s, and the pieces join with a dissolve.

How one piece gives way to the next

Stitch on the phone: the Stitch card on Home with its kind, clips and shape; the editor with the preview, the strip of pieces and a join between each; and the sheet of twelve transitions.

Studio lights

Any room. Lit like a studio.

Nine studio lights relight you live, in the preview and in the recording. Pick one, set how much, and move where it comes from. Live looks grade the whole picture too, while you film.

A clean key from the side with a soft fill.

The camera with the Light sheet open: a portrait relit by the chosen studio light, with a row of the nine lights below it.

Photos

A photo editor that never guesses.

About 220 looks, retouch, text, stickers, frames, collage and animated effects. Every edit is made on your iPhone by exact steps, so the same photo gets the same result. No generative AI.

Drag to compare the original with the look.

The photo editor with a sunset portrait, a before and after wipe, and a row of looks.

Editor

Edit it where you shot it.

Everything after the take lives in the same place.

  • Captions from your voice

Written from what you said, timed to each word, in the style you choose.

  • Studio voice, and sound-off tracks

Take the room out of your voice, as much as you choose. Mute a stretch of the take and keep the picture running.

  • Layouts that change mid-take

Cut from split screen to full frame to a web page, right where you want.

  • Find slips, then export for anywhere

Cut the lines you fluffed, preview it inside the big social apps’ layouts, and export at the size and quality you choose.

The editor: a video with word-by-word captions, a timeline with video, sound and caption tracks, and the editing tools below.

On every screen

One app. Every screen you own.

The same Pros Cam on iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo. Turn it, open it, fold it: the app lays itself out again for the room it has.

iPad

More room for the edit.

Pros Cam works on iPad. Upright, a tall video stands beside the editor’s tools at its full height. Sideways, Library shows your takes on one side and the one you chose on the other. Going live puts the picture on a stage with your scenes and settings on a desk beside it.

iPhone Duo

Closed, a phone. Open, a studio.

Built for the iPhone Duo’s two displays. Closed, the phone layouts stand beside the strip that holds the bars. Open, Home and Library take two panes, and going live puts the picture on a stage with a desk for your scenes and settings. Fold it, and the editor splits at the fold; prop it like a laptop, and the picture is above the fold with the desk below.

Fold

Built and checked on the Simulator; not yet tried on a real iPhone Duo.

An iPhone Duo held in two hands: closed with Home on the outer display, open with Home in two panes, folded like a book with the editor split at the fold, or standing on a table with the video above the fold.

Languages

In your language. English and 37 more.

Pros Cam is written in each one, right to left too. Choose a language in Settings and the whole app changes at once.

Themes

Six themes. Make it yours.

Black, White, Graphite, Aurora, Sunset and Ocean. Choose one and the whole app takes its colour. So does this page: try it.
