Terms of use

Pros Cam, by Fobia. Last changed 25 October 2026.

These terms apply to your use of the Pros Cam app. By using the app you agree to them. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement also applies; where the two differ on a subject covered here, these terms apply.

Using Pros Cam

You may use Pros Cam to record and edit your own videos, for yourself or your business. What you record and write is yours. You are responsible for it: that you have the right to record the people and places in it, to use any video, photo, music or web page you bring into it, and to publish the result.

You agree not to use the app to break the law or other people's rights, and not to interfere with our service or try to use it other than through the app.

Subscriptions

What each plan may use

Some features use services that cost us money each time they are used, such as voice enhancement. Each plan includes a set amount of these, shown in the app, and a plan's amount may be limited by the hour, the week or the month. We may change these amounts for future billing periods.

Cloud backup

Cloud backup is optional and is part of the paid plans that include it. If you use it, the app keeps a copy of your camera files, voice recordings, pictures, photo originals, edit settings and drafts, and a list of those files, so that you can bring them back later. Exported videos are not kept. The files are stored with Cloudflare, under a random identifier that has no name or email address; how information is handled is described in our privacy policy.

Going live

Stream lets you send your picture and sound live to a service you choose: YouTube, Twitch, Kick, or another that gives you an address and a key. It is part of the plans that include it, shown in the app. Connecting your own account is optional: you can instead paste an address and a key. How information is handled is described in our privacy policy.

Inviting friends

If a friend enters your code before their first payment and then pays for their first month, you earn one free month. A free trial does not count. A month earned from a payment that is later refunded is withdrawn. Codes may not be sold, published as coupons or used by the same person on more than one installation, and we may withhold free months earned by abuse.

Services from other companies

Some features rely on other companies, including Apple (speech recognition, purchases), a third-party voice-processing provider (voice enhancement) and, if you add your own keys, the providers of Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini. If you connect an account of TikTok, YouTube (Google), Twitch or Kick, what you send or stream to it is under that service's own terms as well as these. Your use of those providers with your own keys is under your agreement with them, and any charges they make are yours.

Our service

We work to keep Pros Cam reliable, and we may change, add or remove features. The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be free of faults or always available, and we are not liable for lost recordings, lost income or other indirect losses arising from its use. Keep your own copies of videos that matter to you: recordings are stored on your iPhone, not by us, except for the optional cloud backup described above, which is not a guarantee that anything is kept. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

Ending

You can stop using Pros Cam at any time by deleting it; remember to cancel any subscription with Apple. Deleting the app does not delete a cloud backup: delete it first with "Delete all cloud data" in Settings, or ask us to, or it is deleted when the time after your plan ends is over. We may stop providing the service to someone who seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be published here with its date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
